2011 AAP Clinical Practice Guidelines for First Febrile Urinary Tract Infections in Infants and Children 2 – 24 Months: Should We Change Our Current Practice?

After viewing this activity, participants will demonstrate the ability to: appropriately diagnose and treat first febrile UTI in patients 2 – 24 months of age; identify the basis for the controversy regarding guidelines for imaging studies in patients 2 – 24 months of age with first febrile UTI; appropriately counsel parents about methods used for diagnosis of first febrile UTI in patients 2 -24 months of age.
