After attending this activity, participants will demonstrate the ability to: identify leukemia stem cells as a model for the development of treatments for AML; demonstrate individualized medicine as a future treatment model for AML; describe the potential use of immunotherapy, and small molecule inhibitors in cancer and AML therapy.
